Level 1 training
We fly a 2001 Piper/Cubcrafter PA18 Supercub. Our cub negotiates off-airport environments better than most with an upgraded 180 horsepower engine, a bore prop for better obstacle clearance on takeoff, and 31-inch Alaskan Bush Wheels. Helmets are available to wear during training and several STC’s such as header fuel tanks removed from the cockpit, X-B Bracing above the pilot, larger spar to increase gross weight, and 4 point seat-belts are all to add to the safety of training. This style of flying promotes instinctual flying or pure stick
and rudder flying.
2 or 3 Day Course Available
advanced TailwheeL
Level 2 training
Take your airplane off the pavement and learn the process to mitigate the risk and the skills to make a consistent accurate approach and landing. In this course you will learn more about your airplane or fly our 2001 Piper Supercub on 31 inch Alaskan Bushwheels. This typically is a 4 day course with ground and flight operations. We have built a network of places to land off airport and have a variety of difficulty to meet your skill level. Take your flying to the next level and leave the pavement behind.

C3 Floatplane pilots fly a 2014 CC-18 Top Cub on Wipline 2100 Amphibious floats. Our normal Private and Commercial ASES course is 3 days in length. Day one and two will be a combination of ground and about 3-4 hours of flying per day. Day three will be your checkride that will consist of an oral section and a flying section. This course is about exploring the fun factor of aviation. Your first water landing will typically yield a chuckle and a big grin. Pulling into a dock for lunch, will be your favorite $100 hamburger you have experienced. We tell everyone, "This is an awful airplane and a terrible boat but a whole lotta' fun!"
